Asking For Help

As a Marine wife, it is hard to ask for help and take people up on offers to help. I always feel it was showing my weakness. I take pride in my Supermom title. However, I am realizing more and more I can't do this on my own. A quote from my devotional really stood out to me today. " Ask for help-this is not a sign of weakness-receive it when it comes, be proactive,and exhale. There is no such thing as a Superwoman, only Super-friends and Super-families. None of us are perfect,and we need each other desperately (Hatmaker, 2010).
