Memorial Day Weekend

I was able to enjoy some fun time with the boys this weekend. Reality also hit me when I talked to a dear friend and she asked for prayers for her husband's unit. They had suffered a few losses this week and are in heavy battle. She expressed her own feelings of an anxiety and fear and waiting for her own doorbell to ring. A fear I often hold in my heart. Aj had no celebration in Afghanistan. Just another "working" day.
