We are down to a little over a week until MEXICO! While this excites me, I also get anxiety over what I need to do to get everyone ready and a bit sad to leave the kids. But, I know that we NEED this and it will be so much fun!
I have been working away on school work. Final papers are starting to loom. I had the opportunity to interview a beautiful lady for a life study for my Human Behavior class. She was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has just been given 6 months without treatment. I know after spending just a bit of time with her, she in no way is going to let that happen and has way to much more living to do. It really made me reflect on my life and remember that my kids are a BLESSING even when they are screaming or fighting and that you should never have any regrets in your life.
The diabetic dog is doing well. If only I could get G to stop feeding him treats. He is getting used to his carrot treat diet and new food. He goes Friday to have a screening to make sure the insulin is doing what it is suppose to, but he absolutely looks and acts so much better.
Well, I have more homework to get caught up on while my fussy 19 month old sleeps. Whew.. it has been one of those mornings! Blessing... Blessing. =)
