Happy 15 Year Anniversary Baby!
Today is our 15 wedding anniversary. No steak dinners, lavish trips, or big gifts. We will be spending it 2,000 miles apart. Most women would be devastated and not get out of bed, but this is just another day in the life of a Marine wife. As much as I would love to share all of those things, I must choose to be thankful for the life that we have had together and look forward to the future. We were kids when we started dating and got married. It is amazing after literally years apart and having to be creative with our marriage, we are still so in love. Honestly, we are more in love then the day we were married. I don't think you fully understand the depth of your love that day. After all the trials and tribulations, do you really know the person you married. So, I will soak in my Skype date later today and look forward to seeing him in a few weeks before his big trip.

Congratulations! I love the previous post about pre-marriage/boot camp. In a little less than 15 years I too will be celebrating a 15 year anniversary, and It will also be the time that my husband officially puts away the combat boots and dog tags (maybe, he loves the corps...a lot).
